Slough SEO that grew one clinic into nine across the south of England.
To be honest, if your phone isn't ringing the way it should, the problem usually isn't your service — it's that the people searching for you can't find you on Google. I'm Surinder Ahitan. Between 2016 and 2022 I helped grow a UK clinical-services group from one clinic in Southall to nine across the south of England, using SEO and websites alone — almost no paid ads, almost no social. So that's the playbook I now run for local owner-operators in Slough, Farnham Common and across the M4 corridor.
I sell SEO consulting, website work and content. So you should know up front that's the bias. I'd rather you knew than have me pretend I'm neutral.
Why this site reads like a letter, not a brochure.
Most SEO websites talk at you. Big slogans, stock photos, vague promises. To be honest, I think that's the wrong shape for how this work actually goes in practice.
SEO is closer to a conversation between two business owners than a sales pitch. So that's how I've written this site — as letters. One page at a time, plain English, no jargon I wouldn't use in the pub. If you want the academic version, there are plenty of agency sites that will give it to you.
The proof, in one line.
★ The CoLaz Story
1 to 9 clinics · 6 years
Between 2016 and 2022 the group went from a single clinic in Southall to nine across the south of England — almost entirely on the back of Google rankings and conversion-built websites.
The playbook still works. Trades, dentists, accountants, solicitors, restaurants — anyone serving a local catchment, the mechanics don't change much. By the way, the names of the tools change every couple of years; the underlying work doesn't. If you want the numbers and the timeline, the full story is here.
What I do, day to day.
Six things, all related, bought separately or together. In rough order of what most owner-operators ask me about first:
- SEO consulting — strategy and the technical work. Audits, on-page, technical SEO, the unglamorous stuff that compounds.
- Local SEO — Google Business Profile, the map pack, reviews, citations. Everything that gets you shown when someone in your town types your trade.
- Website development — SEO-first builds in Astro on Cloudflare. Fast, indexable, converts. Not WordPress.
- CRO consulting — turning the visitors SEO earns into actual phone calls and form fills.
- SEO content — written by a human who's read what already ranks. Built to compound.
- Website maintenance — a small monthly retainer for owners without an in-house dev.
Where I work — and where I don't.
I'm based in Farnham Common — ten minutes from Slough High Street, fifteen from Windsor. The local-pack work concentrates on Slough, Farnham Common and the wider M4 corridor — most of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire is in scope.
Remote consulting works anywhere in the UK — the local-pack work, by definition, is tied to a place. To be honest, I don't take aesthetic clinics on this side of the desk; those go to my sister practice, Aesthetics Marketing System. Everyone else is welcome.
What happens if you send your site over.
You drop the URL into the audit form. The automated score lands on the page in about fifteen seconds. The full personal report — what I'd actually do, in priority order, written by me — lands in your inbox within a working day.
Don't worry, no call required, no upsell. So if we end up working together later, the audit is what we'd act on first. If you've got a quick question before that, give me a shout on contact@ahitanseo.co.uk.
※If you want me to look at your specific site and tell you what's broken — that takes me a working day, and costs you nothing. Send the URL over — let me know what's going on.
