This site is built to use as few cookies as possible. We don't use marketing cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking. We do use Google Analytics 4 — but only with your consent, and purely to understand which pages are useful. Below is exactly what's set, and how to control it.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information about your visit. Some are essential for a site to function; others are used for analytics, advertising, or personalisation. Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, sites must tell you what they use and get consent for non-essential cookies.
2. What cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the site to work securely. They do not require consent under PECR.

2.2 Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and where visitors drop off. These cookies are only set if you accept in the consent banner — by default, no analytics cookies are stored and no identifiers are sent. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to enforce this. IP addresses are anonymised by GA4 by default. We do not use Google Signals, advertising features, or remarketing audiences.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics alongside GA4. Cloudflare's analytics is cookieless and doesn't fingerprint visitors, so it runs regardless of your consent choice.
2.3 Marketing / advertising cookies
None. This site does not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any other advertising or remarketing cookies.
2.4 Third-party content cookies
None at present. If we embed third-party content (e.g. a YouTube video) in the future, those embeds may set their own cookies — we'll list them here when they appear.
3. How to control cookies
You can manage cookies in several ways:
- Consent banner — on your first visit a banner asks whether to enable analytics. You can change your mind any time using the link in the footer.
- Browser settings — every major browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) lets you block all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or delete existing cookies. See aboutcookies.org for browser-by-browser guides.
Blocking all cookies may break some site functionality (e.g. the bot-management protection), but the site itself will still load and the audit form will still work.
4. Your rights
Under UK GDPR and PECR you have the right to:
- Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time
- Request information about what cookies have been set on your device
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office
